Very good image quality, fast autofocus, high speed, extreme wide angle - what ma want? At D610, the lens is sharper, the less megapixels than D800. But even on the D800 is the lens a delight. At f / 2.8 the corners a bit soft, but this is perfectly fine. I know of no known objective, which is already offenblendig sharp in the corners with such an extreme wide-angle (14mm). Rather the other way, most lenses are even weaker. At f / 5.6 or f / 8 lens to the corners is really sharp. What bothers me a little bit, is that the lens does not have a filter thread for out-looking front lens. There are already solutions for this, you have just googled. From my lens gets clear 5 stars because of the all the lenses I tested has this dei strongest imaging performance and the most extreme wide-angle. 100% Recommend!
