The Boston MELIAH RAGE knock these days with "The Deep And Dreamless Dream" an album out, which may not exactly really stand out for its unkreatives Artwork and boring logo, but all the more through eight songs that have it in them. Clean the feeling of hearing her, I would say quite profane that we're dealing with a successful continuation of the famous black album from METALLICA. For this purpose a few influences from the direction of IRON MAIDEN and MEGADETH eventually. The riffing is sophisticated, groovy and hard at the same time and you can deny him not a certain genius in terms of catchiness. Similarly, as with the song: Powerful, melody safe, varied and charismatic. Not least of these is particularly interesting because it enters into an addictive symbiosis with the guitars. The result is a sound work that is enormously catchy pregnant and horny with hooks so only throw around. The driving endless drums helps the songs, to rapidly bake in the ear. For all the praise but I have to complain about something. Since many of the songs were composed according to the book, here and there the vaunted catchiness sometimes turns unfortunately in boredom. In particular those parts that shine through a totally horny vocal melody to sing along, in my opinion, happens too frequent repetition. Ultimately, it would have certainly not hurt to pack a song more on the CD it, just about the playing time and thus also to increase the long-term fun at the whole thing. That much catchiness usually comes at the expense of long-term fun at a plate, unfortunately can not be avoided, as does "The Deep And Dreamless Dream" is no exception. Underscore the listener remains a horny, easily digestible plate that can come up with one or the other finesse.
