HP Photosmart 5524 / works perfectly

We use our printer for print / copy normal things (no pictures). The price of the regular print cartridges, we find outrageous and were looking for a cheap alternative. We have with these print cartridges found. On the supplied print cartridges many printer models are compatible Gant listed. Unfortunately, the 5524 Photosmart was not with it. So I was confused and contacted the seller before I put the print cartridges. Seller responded very quickly and confirmed that the supplied cartridges will operate in 5524. Unfortunately he could function concerning. The ink level indicator is not guaranteed.
The insertion of the cartridges was carried out without any problems. I have worked as a precaution with gloves and everything covered with newspaper because I had read on the net risk of contamination when using third-party cartridges. I initially below the orang-colored screw cap removed, then pulled the sheet up, then used the cartridge. Nothing was spotted with me.
The printer bleated initially foreign cartridges and explained to me that the ink level indicator will not work. I clicked all error messages away.

Since four weeks working and the printer will print perfectly. In the service program of the HP 5524, the ink levels are displayed.
