That you do not, the quality can compare with an SLR, is clear to me. Well of course the huge zoom range. 20mm wide-angle is a bit fine. In telephoto range, there are limitations, because you already sees in such focal lengths rather than rarity without a tripod without wobbled recordings. The focusing is quite fast, only in another telephoto it may take a little longer. Macro setting is also available, but with other cameras, also with compact, the image quality is better.
Otherwise there is still plenty of adjustment options.
Conclusion: as a travel camera quite suitable, but less picture quality than an SLR or system camera.
