I hesitated a lot

This book is supposed to be intended to 4/7 years, but most of the activities is far too difficult for my four year old daughter. Home page: decoupe continents (Designed Templates for details) and glue them to the right place on the two hemispheres. Already much has been very difficult to cut out a round, you saw a little silhouette Asia !! And the size that it is reproduced in the book, I myself would be very difficult without cutter. I think photocopy, enlarge, coloring, cut out myself with cutter, laminating ... and maybe at that time it will be my daughter activity. It is also a pity that everything is in black and white, you might think that this is part of the Montessori philosophy, but it's mark in the same book: "you can color them so the child recognizes more easily" and "You can color the pictures was cut out to make them more attractive." So, even the author finds that his images leave to be desired! The drawings are beautiful, but very fine, making them difficult for coloring a child who does not yet mastered the manipulation of the pencil.
In short, there are very interesting things here, but I think I'll leave that side to wait for a book far more advanced dexterity on the part of my daughter, not the frustrated in his attempts. Too bad, the maxim of being Montessori "help me to do alone."
