the on excursions and hikes times seen through. I really like the glass. Clear image, good color, easy to use. Previously had a different, more expensive, but the ever so dark giant stains while looking through (yes, the lid was off) has shown if you did not set a specific distance and the exact eye relief. My wife had even more trouble. The Steiner is much easier to handle, we have retained.
