At the same time I have an opportunity to compare a Festool router because I just could borrow in the past a few times and I've also now for 1to1 Comparison pulled ashore.

Case / Storage

Nice that the case of the standard equipment belongs.
The quality of the plastic is "medium", just as you would from many cheaper devices knows (Hardware / discounters).
Positive note is the closing Mechanismuss by two metal snaps, which is not in this type Standard suitcases.
The fit of the individual brackets is Average, keep the items, but the insertion and removal requires some force.
The envisaged according to photo holder for collets, however, does not fit, for I have but found in the trunk floor a suitable "Nip".

Overall, the cutter makes a stable impression, the plastic seems valuable and robust and is not susceptible to scratching.
The cable is long enough, with sufficient flexibility (H05). H07er rubber cable would be nice but mostly expensive equipment reserved. Positives: although only a two-wire cable used is a round plug in Schukoform which holds solid in the wall socket.
Deductions for the lower part of the mill, which is made of die-cast aluminum.
On the one hand you can see that there are quite coarse deburring takes place (partial marks) and the vents are inside sharp - you should be careful when cleaning.
The rip fence, however the appear stable and gives no cause for complaint, better than several milling of low class that I've looked at so far.
The cutters are supplied of course not top quality, but are sharp and give an acceptable milling pattern.
About life and wear I can not say anything yet.
The adapter for dust extraction is indeed absolutely transparent, but the plastic seems to be quite hard and one has the impression that the better should not carelessly drop to the ground. Even when screwing careful with the torque well.

General Handling

In the low-cost device classes one often has the disadvantage that the assembly of accessories is time-consuming and sometimes can only be accomplished with Werzeug.
These mills affords for my taste a no-go:
Installation of dust extraction is realized by 2 screws, something "fiddly" and requires a screwdriver.
That would be ok, but it must be the Absaugeadapter dismantle in order to store the tiller in the trunk can => annoying!
Installation or replacement of the cutter doing quite well, the enclosed combination wrench is a good size and with sufficient material strength, one must not be afraid to bend him.
Somewhat more difficult is the cutter changes with installed dust extraction, since it restricts the space and you can only works from one side.
I was impressed by the installation of the rip fence, stable and without play.
The purpose of to be seen in the pictures plastic measuring rail does not open up to me, is not mentioned in the manual. No matter how you set it up on the guide rails are the scale no real added value - so be it.
The installation of the template guide is rather complex, also here screwing is required (unscrew plastic sliding foot, insert template guide, sliding foot screw again).
The additional part for's circle milling same: Unscrew plastic jaws of the parallel guide, compass use and screw it to the "circles" in reverse order.

Labor / adjustments

The lowering of the cutter is so-so, despite greasing the rails not completely smooth, the back pressure of the spring is too high for me and you can hear when lowering the spring "work.
At this point, no comparison to the Festool-cutter, in short: a different world.
The adjustment of the cutting depth can not convince one hundred percent:
The fortified at Fräsfuss turret stop for different height attacks has some play, it can be slightly downwards. This way you can operate it easily, but you must be careful when setting the height stop push down hard enough to really have the true end point (hard to describe something).
The adjustment of the height of attack is good, however, the locking screw of the plastic stopper height would be tightened firmly to really fix.
The fine adjustment is ok and doing their job.

Labor / The actual milling

In this area I was the tiller almost all around convinced:
The speed can be continuously adjusted, dial with your thumb to reach (target but lt. Instructions not carried out under load).
The on / off switch with accidental activation is well positioned, is easy to operate nevertheless a pleasant pressure point => but like.
The noise I really do not want to rate my view is obligatory ear protection (applies also for the Festool). At moderate speeds perfectly acceptable and quite comparable with the Festool there is already a lot out loud at Maximaldrehzall, here then clear advantage for the expensive Festool.
As described above, however, requires the soulful dipping some attention, then reason to celebrate:
The twist grip height fixation is smooth, but fixed well.
Regardless of the speed no unusual vibrations are felt, evidently good runout and no real difference to Festool.
The milling result like already with the series routers, with the use of expensive brand cutters no difference gives the milling pattern of Festool cutters with same.
While the dust extraction works basically decent, but has been designed for the Festool inferior by far.
As with all known to me favorable milling is just above sucked, logically that there at the bottom right on the router "rumsaut".
When Festool is exhausted through openings in the pedestal, there is still available as an accessory even an extraction of the side down - in this respect a Träumchen.
For me, the following applies: who buys cheap must sweep: o)

CONCLUSION
=====
Of course I would like to repaint the Varofräse and my Festool borrower return - without words.
But I'm so happy that I did not think of an exchange in sum with the Varo-cutter.
I think that you can live for hobby's with the disadvantages and annoyances, the actual milling and the milling could convince me.
Considering the price and the rich supplied items you have a good starter and there is still little financial leeway to buy commonly used cutter in good quality.
So I then put together a workable package for me at a reasonable price.
