So far I had only Ja Rule brilliant debut "Venni, Vetti, Vecci", one of my all time favorite albums, which, however, appeared with everything after that had little in common. Where the debut with first-class hard and deepen Tracks persuaded to Yes presented on his other publications more like a typical, commercial 08/15 rapper, so he vergraulte most of his fans, working instead with a certain woman Lopez or Ashanti and made rather Pop and R & B instead of hip-hop, which he indeed like no other but no props in the scene earned money. But then I saw on TV the video for the single "New York" with Fat Joe and Jadakiss and was really pleasantly surprised: A first-class street track, clean rapped verses and no embarrassing Playa posturing. So I wanted to convince myself whether Yes has again turned to his roots, and behold, there's really all 5 Street tracks on the album that go convincingly in the direction of the debut and the quality achieve this also. That would be "Last Of The Mohicans" with Black Child (genius Beat), "New York" (to which I have already said everything, for me one of the tracks 2004), "rule", "Gun Talk" with Black Child (as "Last Of The Mohicans", in addition to this and "New York" is my favorite) and "Bout My Business". These tracks are all absolutely first class and if Mr. Atkins would even resume an album with tracks of this kind, another Classic would be in it. The rest of the songs, however, are to be divided into 2 categories: typical Rule R & B and deepe tracks, and I must say frankly that the album is perfectly balanced. In the former category, especially the great "Wonderful" with R. Kelly and Ashanti, "The Manual" and "Get It Started" to mention. However, the R & B tracks on this album are not nearly as bad as its previous, they all have their charm and I like them because you can relax them better than me and but they are still regarded as hip-hop. The deepen things I like "Where I'm From" and "Life Goes On" at best, but also the rest of the songs going all right, there is actually no weak track, only "Passion" is probably at least 8:36 3 minute long and in the long run a bit boring. Otherwise, this album is recommended to all, for it is well at the moment one of the best commercial rap album and Ja Rule has finally stopped only to shoot against G-Unit, Eminem and Co. and have concentrated on his musical strengths. If only because the Street tracks you should get this album right away, and I say that even though I (in spite of the brilliant debut) absolutely no followers This Artists'm really! It is really worth ...
