Bought to get the high humidity in my basement apartment in the grip of this device. Especially in the bathroom with no windows, it has proven to be very useful. The area is dry after showering in kuzer time and the amount of water that has collected in the tank, I find not bad. But also not made any experience with other devices, so I can not judge whether this device is particularly well or better than other devices. Without extension cord has not really the chance to put the unit centered in a room. I find that a bit annoying. The sound of the instrument is, as I have already read in other reviews, too noisy to sleep with it can. When watching TV you have to make the sound of the TV a bit louder.
