Anyone the album is As superficially have its problems, which it divides easily seen in two parts that alternate:
Firstly, the epic songs with mighty drum pads and powerful trombones, trumpets and strings.
Secondly, the quiet songs, the ballads by the piano takes the lead and occasional orchestral comes to a climax.
For me personally Woodkid meets exactly my taste, because I love epic music pieces either from film or game soundtracks.
Finally someone grabs all these inspiration together and makes a music album and it tells a great story.
And here, the book comes into play: It tells his story in detail, including artwork. Song lyrics are also included.
It helps to better understand the contents of this album and just to see not just as a normal pop album.
Of course, his songs have been gutted and commercially, but they still have for me still the same force and grab me,
there is music from the heart plus loving orchestral processing.
About his singing is debatable, I perönlich find it suitable, but know many who love his songs,
but his singing can not hear. Perhaps there are for these people indeed an instrumental version.
The Deluxe Edition is worth the money, a very chic appearance with his story plus pictures, the lyrics, credits, etc.
Fans of his music will anyway get this version instead of sucking only the MP-3s.
So either you stand on it or leaves the finger away.
I stand on it and I'm still torn despite sustained For over a year hypes totally off the stool.
That's why I now sit me my horned helmet on (from the video game "Ico") and ride in a new adventure.
edit:
Is often asked and unfortunately: You have the book behind the cd rip, unfortunately.
Was surprised myself, because the book is really beautiful and this "tearing" left a little tear.
Have yourself about 5 looked whether there is another possibility, but no. Even with the finest knife I did not hintebkommen.
At the end ripped to finally hear the album.
But as well as in Wood Kids Story you have to make sacrifices to get to your destination)
