The camera takes excellent videos, even in somewhat gloomy environments. not visible only in 20FPS, but to the eye at the maximum resolution of 800x592. If you compare the resolution down, go the FPS to 30. The sound from the speaker is very good for that size and audio even fed properly with the SRS WOW HD and understandable. The pity is that in video recordings, the noise level is relatively high - but still bearable. Perfect I feel that I can create a long video at a time with my 2GB SD card inserted, what you unfortunately missed with other cameras, or receives only in low quality. The i7 allows me with the map and the highest setting whopping 1.5 hours video recording - perfect - replaced my camcorder.
Convince pictures. After several days of torture test in various settings and programs I'm really happy. Autofocus is relatively fast, good macro mode, Super macro simply brilliant. AF illuminator (orange "search light" for autofocus in low light conditions) was missing at that time - the i7 hats :) exposure time in night shots 16 seconds have magnificent effects or just a clear picture perfect night arise. The image processing and -verbesserungsfunktionen to be proud of, so you can for example use picture tubes or cut out unwanted objects, adjust color balance, or apply filters ... and lots more!
The generous internal memory of 450MB is actually provided for the travel guide, still can be close to 70 photos in the highest setting in addition make (File Size ~ 2 - 3MB). One does not need the Guide, you can also delete the from the internal memory and does a lot of space for more photos and videos. The media player for video and MP3's gimmick, but nice. Too bad that the supplied program the SDC video can not convert back into a PC-compatible format, because my promo video, which is already on the camera, like ;-) videos for the PMP must in any case have a special format and on the map or the camera also be stored in the PMP directory.
