I wanted to do my freestanding dental necks something good!

Since I have pretty sensitive teeth and tooth necks standing open, I looked for a good toothbrush. At the last visit to the dentist made me the assistant attention to ultrasonic toothbrushes. I searched the internet and found out first that sound are not the same ultrasonic toothbrushes! After all, the assistant said only products from Philips, Braun, etc.
So clearly sonic toothbrushes! I researched and made me smart.

Emmi-dental is the only ultrasonic toothbrush! But beware: All (Ultra) Noise Brush hot so not because they work with sound. No. They are mistakenly called so because the vibrations are very high. With a sonic toothbrush about 30,000 oscillations per minute and the ultrasound well is 1.6 million vibrations per second have. But I have read a number of Aerzen on the Internet that the Emmi does not work with real ultrasound! To the judge himself, I have too little clue.

Lustig was certainly that the Stiftung Warentest (test 04/13) said that it was also no ultrasound, because one could just as well open your mouth in front of a speaker box and wait for the plaque disappear.

So now, but my 4-week test:
I really had high hopes! The delivery was initially very fast, as usual Amazon. I packed everything out, read me the instructions for use and knew what I had to do. For me it was to make not bad no more cleaning movements. It is supposed to just hold your peace. The cleaning time has now raised with me about 4-5 minutes to 10 minutes. I always brush thoroughly and according to doctors, from 2 min. Not necessarily out. Anyway, I had after ten minutes. Never feel that my tooth surfaces now constantly smooth sind.Ich could still residual lining on the teeth. Especially at the outer rear teeth.
I brush nevertheless eagerly, sometimes takes so little getting used to. I've used every 2-3 days flossing and understand at all NULL as the Emag AG may claim that you would not need them anymore !!! That is not true at and causes people to neglect oral hygiene!
I've got not just a little brought out and I want to say that I eat mainly healthy time!
After 2 weeks I've used the first time a Färbetablette. After brushing which were otherwise always felt more clear lilane deposits on the teeth. I clean after having my manual toothbrush. Everything was somewhat smoother again.

Earlier my teeth have sometimes hurt while brushing with the manual toothbrush when I came to my dental necks. Since I have to admit that with the Emmi-dental was not the case. But is clear that if there are no more abrasive action takes place, so nothing can hurt you. If I would just not brush my teeth, I would have more enamel left ^^ Of course why people praise this toothbrush that have no more bleeding gums because the brush nunmal not dressing abrasive! But that means at the same time that they might not dressing properly!

I have further researched and read on the Internet that the great ultrasonic toothbrush is now but no longer so great. I also called my dentist at, which is a tooth and jaw specialist in Munich and he confirmed to me that you have never proved the effect of such brushes and thus many ultrasonic brush are gone from the market.

I felt also confirmed because as I said, neither the cleaning performance has been good, even if you had to some extent able to dispense with floss! Man holding the brush so only on the teeth and makes so basically nothing. It may be that the bubbles bring about something ... but this one would have to brush daily for an hour. The integrated motor is used to determine the way the user only when the brush is on. Ultrasound can not hear yes.

Conclusion: For me, the brush has failed. I always vieeeel longer used in the bathroom as before and the cleaning performance is in my opinion insufficient. Therefore, I find it almost negligent to give children as a brush.
I after 4 weeks returned everything and Amazon get refunded the money.

For the future: I had to look for an alternative course. My doctor told me that sound brushes not really better than electric rotating-oscillating brushes. The published with April test the Stiftung Warentest. Nevertheless, I dare own first attempt at the Philips Sonicare FlexCare to me to form an opinion itself. The expensive brushes bring really only equipment with, but because the brush is so highly rated, I am testing the times. Today is the 3rd day with the sonic toothbrush and I definitely feel as a cleaner with the Emmi-dental. However, I'm still not entirely convinced. Fact is, no one spared brush and floss the exam at the doctor :)
