At reception, I was not very excited when I found a little gunk of these carpets. After washing and drying the tea towel, I realized that lint are not adhered. I had silicone mat where the slightest speck of dust clung when it was not the footsteps of fiber cloths. No worries on this side there then! These carpets have a good thickness that make them strong and dimensionally stable while remaining flexible. The mesh provides a visual aspect "natural mattress" but I think it also has a useful role in accelerating the cooking, the fiber being a good conductor of heat. They are completely sealed and will remain so until they have not been altered by sharp utensils. These mats are convenient to replace the sheets with parchment paper, to avoid soiling the large oven dishes (always too big for the sink!). They are suitable for baking (pastries, cookies ...) and for pizza or oven chips. They give off any odor and do not transmit specific taste to foods cooked above. So I was skeptical at first by their stickiness (which ultimately is just impeccable) and colors that made me fear a product more flashy than professional, but for the use they are perfect. In size, they measure 40x30 cm so that internal measures of my oven dishes are 38x35. So there is a sense that some dishes like pizza houses can overflow a little, but nothing prevents use the 2 together to make extension. Once clean, I roll the carpet together and tie with a rubber band to store. They do not keep the "rolled" form when I resumed them is nice too.
