Have this hard drive connected to my home network, the transmission of a video file with LAN cables amounted grade times 10 MB / sec, my old USB hard drive provides compared 30MB / sec!

Disadvantages:

- MKV video streaming does not work on Samsung TV's, despite stating on their website that will WD supports this format
- The Options menu is available only in the web interface and want to leave settings left
- Age Twonky Service 5.0 is installed-> MKV files are not streamed, Twonky service can not also update manually
- Function on Iphone to read the data very slow!
- To consider functional images on TV very slow despite LAN connection

So who wants to mainly buy this record because video streaming is better to resort to another NAS or simple as I now take a USB hard drive also works as the MKV Streaming on Samsung TV without a problem!
