For me, the Dali censor 1 potter than boxes on a vintage hi-fi system. The Dali censor are recommended for lovers of precise sound and same the rather warm sound of old equipment (Sony, Luxman) from something. Overall, the sound quality - as measured by the 'size' of the box - very balanced, yet so through out bass and good treble, though the centers sonically easily dominate - an advantage especially if you hear singing-heavy music, because voices really come very across well. I hear in a relatively small area (16 square meters) on different sources (usually 70's Sony and Toshiba) alternating with Yamaha NS670 (end of the 70, then 1,500 DM), and the small Dali censor 1 must not hide: sonorous, powerful, and give very precise. The Yamaha sound warmer, total course something spatial / wider, but in the circle of friends that opinion is divided, some prefer the Dali, some the Yamaha. With little space (or as second box) and with lower budget a clear recommendation!
