But I would have 2 criticisms, so I may depart and 1 Star:
1. The speaker is also mounted on the underside and radiates down. Maybe is a particular problem, but with us the alarm clock is on the back cushion of the sofa bed. The soft surface then covers you up the loudspeaker and the alarm is then too low.
2. The fact that the entire top serves as a key for the announcement, is normally well and the main reason to take these radios. It is impractical, however, when the clock is to be transported (eg. As the hospital). The announcement will not turn off namely. Either you take the batteries out (and must afterwards to set the time again) or the thing babbles a constantly out of a suitcase to something because it presses on the sensitive button. Here a third position "off" for the volume switch would be handy.
