I've been using this processor with Windows 8.1 as Kodi HTPC via HDMI to a receiver with AVR Asrock AM1 motherboard and 4GB of RAM and 32GB SSD. Audio via HDMI makes with the beta drivers AMD problems so I finally swung on Windows.

Smooth, fast playback ... Top!

In addition, a Plex server is still running on the device if I am traveling times and want to look at transcoded videos. Again, the CPU runs at a maximum of 60%.

Finally, I let my Vuplus box with Enigma2 transcode on the PC and streaming. Also running perfectly.

I'm totally happy and have to say for just 200, - Euro I all I need and want. Since you do not have to spend quite a bit more money.
