Curious what David Garrett grossed in previous years, I came to Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, of which I after the movie "The Concert" was so overwhelmed. Who wants to listen to this piece for the first time, be forewarned: It's an extremely emotional by its beauty under the skin - this who squashed a tear, has no heart! The Violin Concerto by Tchaikovsky is an ideal starting point for young people in classical music in my opinion. These wonderfully interpreted by the then very young David Garrett. The Violin Concerto of Conus is also very good of Garrett and the Russian National Orchestra is playing but can not achieve the effect of force and genius of Tchaikovsky for my taste. Nevertheless: This CD is recommended a must for all David Garrett fans and for classical newcomers warmly!
