For me it was like so many: up to the ultra-popular hit "Teen Spirit", "Rape Me" and "Come As You Are" I'd never really heard of Nirvana, held the belt for completely overrated and had me daruaufhin never bothered to "deeper terrain" to put myself in order to get to know the band properly -'m just not a "fan of the first hour".
This Best Of offers a very successful entry into the work of the band. Today I am glad to know not only above-mentioned songs, but also pearls like "About a Girl", "The Man Whol Sold The World", "All Apologies" and "Where Did You Sleep Last Night". The persistence of very successful songs "Dumb," "In Bloom," "Lithium" and the so far never released on CD "You Know You're Right" justify a purchase anyway.
Scope: 15 tracks, 54 minutes.
For "remastered" quality: In my opinion, not a disadvantage. Rather, the rock songs now significantly more than on the original plates. Ich finds good.
Booklet: Nothing special, but ok. 8 pages, 4 pages Band Story, 5 band photos.
Playing tips: especially the three unplugged pieces (at the end of the CD) - outstanding.
