Because an Amazon product page itself so kindly indicating that you have ordered this product before, I once had a look in my barely 16 months past order and was surprised to say the least: On March 12, 2014 I have 6.90 per connector paid (and 4 pieces purchased, shipping 3.00), and today is to pay almost twice ?? At the same seller CHS electro !! Really? How should this supplement because if you please be justified ... not ok !!

First look: This (vertical) 3-fold safety plug is glossy white and acts as a unified whole - in my specimens is in terms of production is not purely external absolutely whatsoever to criticize, and more than a year after the purchase of a total of 4 this connector (beginning of March 2014) is also enough practical experience to present - in view of the discussion here for controversial-and-resisting comments - to write my review with a clear conscience!

And precisely this is what the German non-admission in the VDE 0620 - Standard namely: to a possible mechanical overloading of the wall socket and the resulting eventuality (!!) a "safety hazard to the user"! This "Guide an ad hoc working group with experts from the market surveillance authorities, industry and standardization" but is not a written law but a recommendation - which is why this non- may be "guide-compliant adapter" in Germany and Europe indeed sold.

This German "policy statement" (quote) still fear that this could also happen eg.,

A real solution can precisely this adapter instance.
