Ideal solution for film / game lovers

- Optics / haptics - (5/5)
The Playstation 3 seems quite noble in the black cautious framed housing and fits probably in most cabinets or HiFi racks.
I particularly like is the bar with the power and the Ejectknopf that is designed in a mirror optics.
However, one must say that the optics of course, always a matter of taste.

Processes the entire device is also properly - I could not fault this regard. All edges are made clean, nowhere is about.

Due to the consistent design and quality appearing processing I give full marks!

- Flexibility - (4/5)
Again, you can not give bad review, considering that the Playstation is actually a game console. If you look at the opportunities that are a necessary, it can be regarded more as a media center. While the general trend is apparently more and more in this direction, but the PS3 was probably the pioneer of these hybrids "in her generation.

I've used to music, Blu-ray movies play the device to browse the Internet and of course gamble on games. Everything has done a good piece easily.

The only deduction they receive from me in this category for the lack of backward compatibility with respect PS2 u. PS1 games. This is not a doomsday especially since I anyway still have the PS2 in action, but it would be useful all been times.
The backward compatibility of the early models proves, after all, that it would have been more or less without any problems.

All in all I can here but calmed down also awarded 4 out of 5 points, as they are very well suited as a player for movies and music, while providing a variety of games.

- Accessory / Included - (4/5)
Included is everything you need for a quick connection. So included is an AV cable, a USB cable for charging the controller also enclosed and of course, power. A bit missing but I have a HDMI cable.
Of course, you can now say that with most other devices no HDMI cable is included, even though they have a connection for it - still it would have been the cherry on the icing.

Overall I give here even 4 out of 5.

- Operation - (4/5)
The operation of the PS is also achieved by the controller quite well, which is probably due to the simple menu navigation held. Nevertheless, I personally prefer a remote control because the controller to operate simply not as good in the hand such as a Logitech Harmony.

Therefore, I forgive again 4 out of 5 points.

- Playback quality (Picture / sound quality) (5/5)
Both movies and games on Blu-ray deliver short a bombastic sound off - the correct output devices provided of course. Also regarding the most crisp image so far I could not detect any difficulties. Although I have not been able to compare many other BD player at home, but I think that at least in this price range in terms playback quality is not much room for improvement. The 3D functionality I can not judge.

I give particularly because of the impressive sound, but of course, for good image quality again full marks!

- Overall conclusions -
Each is currently looking for a versatile device that plays media and at the same time also want to have a game console with a large selection, which is the PS3 placed definitely fond of, especially since you can really no longer nag at current price ,
