Design and processing:
Well, the "design" could save principally because tastes are simply different. From the processing I must say that the LG clearly has its nose in front here, even though it was cheaper at the comparable time 200. The plastics are generally superior, the TV itself is much flatter and the base of the LG is compared to the Samsung a blessing! Anyone familiar with the TV from Samsung, aware of the problem of shaky and usually leaning stand. When LG has a heavy base made of real metal, in which nothing is shaking and in which extent does game that you can straighten it perfectly! And otherwise the surfaces and the materials used seem simple quality than the Samsung. -> Point for the LG

Features:
Here is just a list, since a direct comparison may be a bit unfair would the LG opposite. The LG is a TV for purists who just want to television. It has a smart TV function with Wi-100Hz (interpolated) frame rate, a CI slot and a triple tuner. The Samsung on the other hand offers a lot more. He can score with 200Hz, as a 3D function, a fast quad-core processor, USB recording, and so on. With the exception of the frame rate of these points are for the pure viewing pleasure but not relevant.

Image and sound:
For sound you need is not much to say with a flat-screen TV. It is generally more functional and has no special experience. Here, however, the Samsung is very slightly ahead, the tone of the LG is still a little bit flat. But I would hardly negative. Everyone who values good form, look for anyway an external solution. Much more important, however, is the image - if not the most important! The picture quality of the LG is really good, because there is nothing wrong. However, I would say just once that for some time all FullHD devices deliver a sharp image. Here, LG and Samsung do not give much. The colors it looks a little different. Here I found the Samsung better. The colors you could wish to adjust a little stronger and the brightness lies something to be desired when LG left. For a "normal" natural image, it is sufficient, although the LG, but if you like to bring a little more life into the picture, is better off with the Samsung. The possibilities to adjust the image I felt more satisfying as well in both. In addition to the standard parameters that can be adjusted (contrast, brightness, red-green, the Samsung offers a few more "Bildverschlimmbesserer" which you can park. But we come to the last point, which is perhaps some people do not care , but for me definitely the charge for the Samsung justifies: The frame rate!
One would think that the LG is sufficient with its 100Hz to provide a liquid image .... would this 100Hz "real", that the Panel would have native 100Hz would be the same way. However, the frequency specified here is extrapolated by software and there are actually only 50Hz before. So you have effectively the problem is that the image is not liquid! Again and again, jerking or "tightening" of the image are the result. Even artifacts occur. In normal television reception neglecting certainly, Blu-Rays and the like but not really nice! The Samsung offers interpolated (calculated) 200Hz, with at least 100 native Hertz. This gives a nice fluid image without disturbing effects.
The vexing issue "Clouding" incidentally haunted me both devices ... annoying illumination failure of the panel are simply series of scattering and can occur in almost every price range.

Conclusion:
If you are looking for cheap TV that does not require much frills and for easy TV to look rich, for the LG is a real tip! However, if you (like me) is more sensitive to disturbing visual effects and definitely appreciate a good all round picture, one should look at a device with at least 100 Hz refresh rate native. Only then one obtains a completely liquid image. A good starting point is for the H6270, for I finally decided. Nevertheless, 4 out of 5 stars for the LG because it is 499 for 55 inches a real price-performance wonder.
