All the more it surprises me that they deliver with "Two Tragedy Poets ..." a (nearly) pure acoustic album that surprised me added really positive. I came by accident in this publication, as I had already turned away from the band and their work. And I am really happy because this disc is ultimately become really good. Even if there were better implementations of this idea, showing Elvenking what they really plan. Be it new, purely acoustic rehearsed numbers or old tracks that have been recorded in new versions, this album is convincing.
The melodies are catchy and you want to immediately sit around the campfire, listening to music and drinking. Just have a good time. The music is catchy and the listener can also touching. Really great!
The only criticisms on this CD are in my opinion a bit unnecessary cover version of "Heaven is a place to be", which somehow failed acts of place and some places a little too thin and weak acting voice of frontman. Otherwise, "Two Tragedy Poets ..." a great acoustic folk album became that every genre fan is warmly recommended ...
