No. 1 of the US dance charts

Similar to Cyndi Lauper Madonna has changed her style again and again. Unfortunately, they could not achieve their success in recent years. Though her albums were always awesome.
When I this CD took place the first time I got scared. The first, entitled "High and Mighty" is really very idiosyncratic and unusual. Only after repeated laying can find him interesting ...! Title 2 "Into the nightlife" then begins exactly how Title 1 ends. Luckily for us the song transforms after 45 seconds at a great dancefloor song. The song would seamlessly into the "Confessions on a Dancefloor" album of Madonna fit.
Title 3 is absolutely hilarious. Cyndi sings the verse rather cautious, only to fall at the chorus Chorus in "Rocking chair". "Echo" is a beautiful pop number. "Lyfe" Hip / Hop elements.
The really big hits come but only from the middle of the CD:
"Same ol 'story" is an absolute dancefloor smashers (no. 1 of the US dance charts). Hit the dance floor, arms and dance, dance, dance. It is similar with "Raging Storm", "Lay Me Down" and especially with "Give it up" and "Set your heart". It follows with "grave a hold" still a nice pop number. At the end then there is the beautiful pop ballad "Rain on me". Class.

Cyndi Lauper wrote and produced all the songs with the help of co-writers / co-producers.
