Since I was never happy with my 3 years old Logitec 2.1 System - I decided on an upgraded 2.0 system to change. Higher Price and waiving the subwoofer should 50 actually give a satisfactory sound at approx. Unfortunately none - clearer highs and mids - better resolution and clarity than the Logitec cardboard boxes but still much better than the 25 mono kitchen radio (those things in the retro look).
After about 3 weeks of practical use the boxes to go now but back permanently. Specifically, the boxes do not go with my commitment to quiet background music:
- At low volume varies the volume level (fall pre-listening with higher volume not on)
- At only quieter background music the right box is usually made - only works at a somewhat higher volume (can also be due to defective regulator.
In addition to crack the boxes recently when the volume knob is pressed (Poti volume probably defective).
Am a little perplexed, as there should be in the range of about 50 actually halfway usable PC speakers now ...
Addendum - by chance I came across monitor speakers from the studio area - there are great active speakers for comparatively little money. Sonically are worlds between these boxes and the "PC-toy". Have KS-40 (85 at musicstore.de - unfortunately here on Amazon too expensive) on the weekend my new Kurzweil put into operation and am completely thrilled. That's right, hand-made speakers clean. Instead of high-gloss plastic dish solid 12mm thick MDF cabinet. Finally also on PC clean sound, high transparency, spatial Abbidlung and much dynamism. The only disadvantage - are slightly bigger than the PC-dwarfs - depth and height are similar but with 15 cm twice as wide - it produces 4 "woofer and pleasant bass Other alternatives -. Or Behringer Samson MediaOne - this time with Browse musicstore.de . Hopefully I can help others who are alternatives to traditional PC-speakers looking (the price-performance ratios does not fit here just) with these recommendations.
