After I have the D7000 now get back for the second time from the Nikon Service Point and am again faced with a new problem, I decided to write this review.
At the D7000 I had 16-85mm 1 me a AF-S Nikkor: 3.5-5.6G bought, but the resulting images had made often does not reach the sharpness that I was used to from my previous D90 / 18-105mm combo. As I read in Internet forums of focus problems of D7000, I was experimenting with different settings of the AF fine tuning and noticed that so let achieve an improvement in picture sharpness. So I gave the camera and lens for Nikon service, the adjusted both - now made the D7000 with the 16-85er really good pictures.
A few weeks ago I noticed now that the lens while the VR (eg tested at 1 / 80s) from the hand in detail and less sharp images verwackeltere made as at off VR. Also on this issue, there are entries on Internet forums. So again returned - and get back with the message that the Board was not defective, but you've been through everything again adjusted. In another test shots the VR problems actually occurred no longer on.
Now I bought a new lens, the AF-S Nikkor 35mm 1: 1.8G. A few test shots (blue car in front of a wall) I have set in the customer images. Without correction of AF fine tuning the focus is unfortunately completely wrong again, only at a correction of about +15, the lens seems to reach its potential in Aperture 1.8 Focus - but I have now frankly not feel like that again from Nikon to have it checked Service.
I find it incredible that the manufacturer was at a camera that cost nearly a thousand euros at the time of purchase will not be able to adjust the AF system so that it no subsequent correction by the customer or an adjustment by the Nikon Service the company's own lenses work. And: Is a lens adjusted to the camera, which no longer applies to the next as described may. The fact that I had not noticed the problems at first and I did not realize that the camera was not set correctly, I have to waste so much impression. Now, here to read on Amazon customer reviews, reports of extremely serious problems with the focus even with much more expensive models like the D800 - so it does not seem to be really better at Nikon.
