I have after much reading on forums for the Tamron 17-50 VC decided after I have a 28-75 and am convinced I will be thinking is sure to be worth the money. Far from it: The picture quality is good, the Bokeh is a bit too rough for my taste, because that's 28-75 against a dream. So I would, however, be able to live. However, the processing of the lens is relatively poor, the engine is extremely loud and makes really unhealthy noises, trying out first it has spooked me a real fright and I gibg first clear of a defect of.
