thus I apprehended the 3rd part of this trilogy that I devoured with pleasure. I can only recommend this saga that interweaves family stories, evolution in time and history with a capital H. thank you to the author to make us relive and remember the two great wars and the 1960s through engaging characters and different countries. it is with great hesitation that I started in Volume 1 seeing over 1000 pages !! but once I was seduced by the quality of the narrative. You would think with all these lost characters and yet we found it quite easily despite the different generations that are continuing in the 3 volumes. I strongly and warmly recommend this trilogy
