Henry is a liar (a part of his life is unknown), an impostor (he published successful books including his wife is the author) and a murderer (a crime leads to another, you know what it is ). Henry is the hero of the truth and other lies of the German Sascha Arango, screenwriter known for television, radio and theater, which is the first novel. A thriller cutting has the necessary effectiveness to keep the reader in suspense and a good dose of amorality to shock (a little bit, we saw other, right?). It is not a literary object Arango but obviously knows how to spice up a plot with known ingredients, must still arrange the knowledge with skill and on that side, like a Joel Dicker, German writer made an almost faultless. Henry, despite his cynicism and lies repeatedly, is not completely unsympathetic. Unbalanced and pathological liar accomplished either, but he sincerely loves his dog and sometimes help those in need. Beyond the main plot, especially Arango had the good taste to refine its secondary characters: the woman, the mistress, the publisher and Secretary, Serbian fishmonger ... The truth and other lies is not the book of the year or even the week and leave no lasting memories. The station-novel qualify would be a little unfair, but after all the kind is not shameful in itself. Henry, a friend who (do) you will (not) good.
