wanted my Laptonsound NEN bit spice. The decision was made after many reviews between Yamaha and Bose speakers which were priced about the same (about 90, - Euro). The max. Volume of Yamaha is much higher than in the Bose, subjectively, I would say almost double. Very positive, auto power (in standby) when about 5 minutes No signal. The design is great, the orange metal front looks great. Unfortunately, looks are not everything. Sonically can not really convince Yamaha (despite high volume). Of course they are better than any laptop speakers, but that is not surprising really. Even at low volume, it is absent from the direct comparison with the Bose to details, the highs do not come clean and also the middle are a little spongy. The boxes are rather bassy. The bass comes across relatively strong and exerts great pressure. The sound is distorted from about half of the volume then more and more and destroyed the initially still acceptable impression. For gamers, the boxes are certainly very well suited for listening on the computer they are not recommended. Especially since the price at the moment even increased is> currently 99, - (11, - Euro more than the Bose). The offered sound could not give me 50, - but worth Euro, then there would be three star, but currently is not correct at the value for money, so only two stars.
For me (and a few more listeners) was made quickly, the Yamaha go back. I then decided to use the Bose, though do not have auto-standby and are not as noisy, but they sound much cleaner and offer better listening experience in music.
