In practice disturb me several things:
- The lame data transfer of nearly 2, with luck times just 3 Mbytes / s, with SD card and USB flash drive is definitely not the bottleneck were. Remain self on a day with moderate use of the camera more than 1 GB of photos in RAW format left and you get fun. Unfit for larger amounts of data, therefore, in my view,
- The app uses sensationally bad. You can select multiple photos just by tapping each file (or all files in the folder at once, which was impractical for me, because the already backed up photos of the previous day in the folder were yes) and to crown to the matter:
- File transfer begins only about every fifth try and I have not figured out how to make a start of the transfer when you try again. Sometimes it helped even the USB stick off and connect it again, but sometimes it did not work even after the third complete restart the iPad. In connection with the previous point of criticism is the real "fun" when each photo individually must tap to highlight after a day with 100 photos taken - and possibly five times.
- In every major transfer of 50-100 photos you could be sure that 1-2 files are simply not copied. At least there is for an error message with the appropriate file names, so you can manually additional taxes.
The two stars are so only because the device ultimately in my last 10-day vacation could actually back up my photos to a USB flash drive, which I bought it Yes. But it clearly has cost too many nerves!
Edit from 29/05/2015: I have recently the Kingston MobileLite G2 and since this device really can do everything better, what I have criticized here, I prefer the second star also back. The unit here is nuclear waste!
