I had bought the piece for the bedroom, but the clock illuminated by a very bright cool the entire room (despite the darkest level) - who likes to sleep in the dark, is disturbed. Otherwise, nice big numbers for the visually impaired - have the alarm otherwise used to escape the return shipping - the manufacturer should reconsider the brightness of the alarm clock .... Conclusion: unsuitable for dark sleeper
