How must taste for me a coffee? Strong but not bitter or sour. Actually simple right?
In my "Coffee Travel" I have already tried, here is a small excerpt:
- Lavazza Caffè Crema Classico
- Segafredo Coffee Espresso - Intermezzo
- Lavazza Qualità Rossa,
- Dallmayr Speziale
and even the espresso own brand of Lidl in Italy I have tasted.
Last variety would get 3 stars.
But since none of these coffee beans fulfills all requirements, I have tried the illy.
According to the motto, perhaps more expensive is better.
Now to the actual rating:
The illy taste, balanced with a slightly bitter note.
For a good espresso but the force that has the character of a normal bean coffee bean lacks more.
If you want a cappuccino so the milk tastes too strong out.
Only when you take two espressos for a cappuccino taste that the coffee clearly out, but then potentiate the other weaknesses of the coffee. He is clearly bitter.
I want to emphasize that I have this bean evaluated on taste but also on the basis of the high price!
All in all, the bean is not worth the money.
If the price per kilo at 15 so I would give this bean 3 stars.
