I use the LHW sporadically for about 6 months. Mir Fiehl in using this device again and again, how warm it was operating in a few minutes. Overall, I find the device very loud, at the first time I was surprised how much noise can produce such a small device. Striking is in operation especially a loud rattle, which obviously comes from the joint. Probably also a significant part of the heat is produced there. At least the front metal part after about 5 minutes of operation is so hot that it is uncomfortable.
Mainly I use the LHW by the holder for the sandpaper. Last weekend then adopted with a loud bang and smoke, after I had worked for about 5 minutes with the rasping wood the unit.
My conclusion: For serious applications hardly to use and although the device may not exactly cheap. Unfortunately, there are other manufacturers not really alternatives. : \
