Inappropriate for backups

After 40 years of computing, it took me several hours to get into the "logic" of this product and ultimately understand that there is little. It was a hyper-base OS, very slow and consumes 99% less CPU to function.

On this OS are built several independent applications, it is necessary to install one by one. One can understand this choice when it comes to big apps like remote monitoring or web server. It becomes heavy and tedious when it comes to such basic functions as the file management system.
File sharing is the level of an OS 70s.

Then came the big disappointment on Safeguards. This system, which is ultimately a set of hard drives connectors with an OS, does not include PC backup applications to the NAS !!!

The only available function is a single directory to make sync.

The functions Photos and Videos, they are really basic.
Ultimately, I wondered about a return of the system and the solution replacing it with a simple battery external drives, I finally decided to keep it only for having internal disks, a less expensive than external drives.

In short, a backup solution not recommended.
