The author has made a mammoth task since it took him 25 years of bitter drawings (incredibly accurate and realistic) to make this book. Cut into large parts (head, thorax, limbs ...) then under parts (convolutions, eyes, nose ...), while the human body is treated.
Necessary because the anatomy is a fundamental matter to medicine, and this atlas is a great illustration.
Beware however curious that the urge to buy this book is legitimate: there is no explanation to the drawings and diagrams, only these are present, annotated to the extreme with the sometimes barbaric medical names ...
NB I would like to add a note for the benefit of current and future students PCEM1 (the famous first year of medicine). Only two books are really useful: a dictionary of medical terms (the "Garnier Delamare" is a reference) and this one (although you can afford to borrow).
The books of Bioch, biocell or stats are not required to purchase and may consult in university libraries, it is enough.
