It makes us especially aware of the intrinsic potential of our children, especially since it is against productive to stimulate them, to "learn" but it is much more beneficial to support them in their discoveries.
Many indications and specific examples on how to use our daily living space to assist in this development are provided and are really helpful. They are all the more if we take them as examples to develop and not as revenue. This makes it increasingly our role much more interesting parents because much more active.
It is a seemingly easy book to read but is actually very dense and deserves taking notes, bookmarks, scribbling comments in the margins etc, otherwise, we tend to forget what is not repeated at length pages and retain only what is a little stressed.
On the issue of crying and sleep, I recommend the book of Marie Thirion (Sleep, dream and the child, new edition), where there is or "recipes" that change your life (at least that we changed to better mine and my daughter), although they may seem obnoxious at first, especially when no one has the humility to try them.
The only thing I regret about this book is the reading well after the birth of my first child and not being able to make him enjoy.
