I once wanted to try something different, I bought the side cutter from Revell - that was a bitter disappointment.
The Faller is much better in every way.
The handle is ergonomic and fits better in the hand. The blades are narrower and more pointed than in Revell, therefore, it is also very small and delicate components without problems separate from sprue.
If you hold the side cutter with closed cutting up to the light you can see when Revell slightly bumps in the blade, which is not the case at Faller. The Faller separates the components from clean, without any rework is necessary when you have to Revell still rework something.
The Revell Diagonal Cutter I will use only for rough work (cable nip off, etc.), for craft work I'm going back to procure from Faller.
