This part is though pigs excessively expensive compared to conventional flatbed scanners, but in itself it is not comparable with them. I scan usually at 300 dpi and in color. Everything set up so that my OS X file gets fired in a folder; Automator Order got from me to run overnight it Abby FineReader and inspired by my Fraternal may DEVONthink Pro Office finally based on specific (and gehighlighteten!) Keywords on the very first page of each then OCR PDF documents in the right directories slide. This is my workflow: perfeeeeekt!
Since the scanner is software-1A and no shit builds, he must also have his full 5 stars. Virtually every paper size, interminable bills and even arg thin paper grades are clean confiscated and poured a decent PDF. I am something of happy!
The icing on the cake is of course the WLAN function. Once installed the app on the iPad / iPhone, it just rattles nimbly through the pages as on the Mac. The format also true. Only in colored paper (eg. Flash cards), it happens that the mobile app ignores the empty background pages and it installs with instead. But that's no big deal. The scanned pages are still behind and turn superfluous sack again. So if I have to really go fast times and it is on the wing, the feature is invaluable. In addition to the iOS or Android device easily can be located anywhere and already initiated by the scanner of the next scan. This saves time and is again on top of that extremely comfortable.
Well, the bottom line?
Very very expensive (by my standards)
Again just a cheap plastic case
See. With its predecessor has not done much except for the WLAN
+ Best scanner for home users
+ Good software features: Abby & Adobe (Preview is me still prefer)
+ WLAN (!!!!) and thus always ready.
+ USB 3 (for whomever that might be interesting ....)
+ The speed & quality.
Molto bene. Will buy it you if you have more on paper not in the mood.
