I bought these headphones because I was looking good headphones and holds well in the ears, which was not the case with my Ultimate Ears (coming out of my ear, so I lost a lot bass).
Previously I had bought Sony EX90 there 3 years now but had given up the ghost there about 6 months, I was generally satisfied because I had no problem with the holding in the ear and the quality was acceptable (not very powerful bass, treble and sometimes too bright), and I also liked the fact that the cable is kind necklace (longer than the other side to get behind the neck).
In the EX700, I found similarities with the EX90: class design, necklace cable.
I said to myself: why not? I was very satisfied about EX90, and I do not think that Sony has dropped the ball on the holding in the ear with such expensive models.
On the Sony site, the headphones were 300, on the other cheaper sites I found was about 210, so when I saw this offer on Amazon for only 148, I plunge ^^.
So Fast delivery, within 4 days, then the opening of the box, I see that she is a bit damaged on the sides, slightly scratched, dusty, I think that it starts well ^^.
But once you open the box, we see immediately that the product was never used, everything is in place, and tied an inimitable elegance, so I think these headphones have dragged many in their stock, and that 'they liquidated, but hey it not bother me, as long as the product is not damaged, and the headphones never used.
One thing I do not like with these headphones is that they have really thin wires, so if they take longer than the EX90, it would be a miracle (note that I used as my gross EX90, I never put them in their carrying cases (early though, but you get tired faster), in my bag without the wrap anything, so when I went out, it happened they draw on their cable and sometimes I fall asleep with, so after sleeping 8H, you can imagine what the listeners can suffer).
If the cable is really good at frictions, I do not know if it's the smoothness that helps, but there really is little friction on the cables, so if you move with, no unpleasant noise friction.
At his level: superb, the bass is very heavy, the highs are powerful, but just enough. Basically, it comes out good sound super top, I would even say that they are like mobile Focal XS, yet they are still better defined than the focal XS, and gives even more bass.
Otherwise note that the cable does well 1,2m, not anything else, so if you want a short cable model, go your way, otherwise if you hesitate to take because of the length of the cable, now you know that it is 1.2m.
Basically, I'm happy with these headphones, but I pierces the case provided really is not easy to use, and the earphone cable is really late. But hey, I still recommend buying these headphones, they are really good.
