POSITIVE:
+ The mat should be circumcised with a normal craft scissors in length and can be attached to Gitterbalustraden fine with cable ties. The installation is so quick and easy on the hand.
To consider:
o The mat is not 100% opaque - the distances between the individual tubes vary sometimes. From a distance makes it not look much, but who wants to be completely hidden, may need ne other aperture. Positive thing is Allerding that the shadow behind the shield tube aperture is Brichen every now and then by thin solar light strips. We like that very well.
o The mat is optically not absolutely uniform: The reeds are of different thicknesses and sometimes colored differently. This should in the price range be obvious, but better safe than sorry. :)
o The mat crumbles at the beginning as hell. Best unpack outside and holding a broom ready. Who sensitive neighbors, should best unpack the part on a windless day - what comes off as, is carried away in the blink of the wind and spread into surrounding gardens.
CONCLUSION:
The Schilfrohmatte is not perfect, but we were able to befriend us wonderfully with the disadvantages. Especially at the price.
