I forgive times only one point:
One would have times a clear indication of the lack of compatibility can give with "normal" quad LNBs.
Right now I'm still waiting for the right LNB and can not say anything about the function ...
update:
Ok ...... suitable LNB, learned something:
A quad LNB would without multiswitch for 4 "drop cable" function directly to the receivers.
The Kathrein UAS 585 Universal would QUAD-LNB Multifeed suitable then additionally also suitable for operation with the EXR 158.
A Quatro LNB (no, that's not the same !!) can only be a multi-switch operation.
The Kathrein UAS 584 Universal QUATRO LNB Multifeed fit was my candidate because I did not know that at the time.
Advantage Quatro LNB: a little cheaper, disadvantage: When troubleshooting is not enough time to take a short throw Cable for Receiver.
The Background:
In the LNB assembly, I had the bowl unnoticed twisted something, then I got after the completion of "no signal" on Reciever.
The troubleshooting was naturally a bit difficult because the system was never run properly.
After a few red herrings:
- Old LNB mounted again - throw cable for Reciever - aha! no signal - bowl realigned.
Installed a new system again, now running everything ... Phew!
Everything works well.
Would actually 5 star.
But the lack of indication of a special LNB, which is required for operation, 2 points deduction is me (still at the time) value.
