The legal concepts are explained clearly, the author takes the articles in the penal code.
One could imagine that the explanation of these concepts would be somewhat off-putting (in the image of what happens in a law book) but not at all, the author manages to cleverly integrate these concepts with stories that it tells and reading is exciting and very informative.
In addition to each story, the author uses a different point of view (the victim, the accused, the family of the accused, the lawyer, the judge, etc.), these different viewpoints from which to get to instead of the characters very easily and go further in history.
I recommend this book strongly, whether legal or not, you will not get bored.
One weak point may be, the book is not long enough and when it ends, we would like more.
