Why has no one invented before is beyond me. The case certainly works wonderfully both as normal external HDD as well as three emulated DVD drives. That the latter requires internal logic that goes beyond what should have common external housing to be clear, so far, a waiting time of 15 seconds after connecting up to recognize the drive facing the computer is also quite understandable. After all, the drive must first be read, are recognized and integrated ISOs.
