The picture is great, is extremely "clean" by the fine presentation.
Working in the Office is a dream! However, you should use Win8.1 that Win7 scaling zickt here and there a little rum (but also goes if necessary). Quick Launch, eg remains relatively small, despite 150%.
Games go well at any resolution, depending on your own hardware.
I play on a i7 2600K with 8 GB RAM and 2 now 970Gtx in SLI from msi, but had not much time to Sli testing.
I had to Saturday another R9 280x in it and has delivered best sobering results.
I am happy to give some very unfavorable FPS approaches to rough estimate. The game is played with me with relatively high details should finally look pretty! So I ask for 4K not (except possibly from AA).
R9 280x 4K
Black Flag: ~ 20-25 FPS
Garden Warfare ~ 40fps (despite Mantle!)
Watchdogs ~ 15fps without AA good 25fps (texture Mod + sweet Fx)
Ryse Son of Rome ~ 15fps without AA 20-25 - not even here, despite Mantle more.
Dead Rising 3 ~ 20-25 FPS without AA
Battlefield 4 ~ 10fps, 15 without AA, on lowest settings in 4K still max 20-25Fps
Older titles run quite satisfactory to 4k if you adjust the details of something - otherwise there just still 1440p)
Only thing a bit annoying:
You can no longer simply throw to watch movies from your PC to the device cloned Screen aka TV as cloning the same resolution must be used (unless you have a 4K TV or wants 1080p set at 4k monitor!).
Solution: Tv as an extended desktop and then you get a fright every time how small the Vlc window must be, while it pushes on the TV, so that it actually reasonably fit it: D
A deficit, with which I can, however, live well: p
Conclusion:
So you need have no illusions, 4k needs a corresponding hardware monster behind or turning really drastically the details down (and even that is not enough sometimes, BF4 gets my 280x on low details not liquid at 4k).
The Monitor is really great, my pers. Best Pc-related acquisition in recent years!
