Ingenious DSP device at an unbeatable price

I have about 30 "China" radios are (yes yes, some people have idiotic Hobbies :-)). Even professional mobile radio equipment from Taiwan, even Japanese Kenwood and Yaesu and Icom radios ...
So I can compare.

The UV-5R really has a very good sensitivity receiver.

Technically all the HF is only digitized and then processed with a digital signal processor.

Operation is a bit strange, but if you have understood once how Baofeng thinks then makes the whole thing again sense.

The device has a dual watch function, ie two frequencies "quasi" -Simultaneous received (the receiver switches back and forth quickly between two frequencies.
Scan comes with the stored frequencies.
