Some here it was not my right Collin Mc Rae simulation more, and you're right! For me it's the perfect mix of arcade (Flatout2) and simulation (DTM, GTR) and it makes a lot of fun.
I have not played a single mission and wants with this review even encourage players to buy the game if you have a brilliant multiplayer (LAN) pleasure. The versatile multiplayer race modes and settings are hard to beat. We have been testing it for six in Lan (8 players are possible). All gamepads and steering wheels were immediately recognized and show a (when available) realistic force feedback effect.
In multiplayer mode, 5 races, are summarized in different racing modes to a small championship. Includes table, fastest lap, farthest jump, longest drift. Every little event will be seen on all monitors of those present. This is highly motivating and very exciting!
It may teams are formed. That means that the race rankings of each team are counted together and these are then displayed in a table.
Whether dominance in which it is to achieve the fastest time in track sections, or the elimination race where the last automatically resign after a certain time, all the game modes have their charm and bring a lot of fun.
The only complaint from me, or rather one of us is that there is no assignable rear-parking-on-line button.
This means that a trip to the "sweet peas" and the subsequent addition manovieren can be very time consuming. But the problem have indeed all.
For the multiplayer I give 5 stars because as a multiplayer mode, in grade Lan has become truly rare.
Addendum:
To put it again bluntly, CMRDII saves the game, even without Internet !!
Unfortunately, I have repeatedly read that it was not possible, and turn out a lot of the reviews therefore simply bad. This has the Super game simply does not deserve.
Is very simple.
1. Start the game.
2. Windows Live logs and want the players to set up an account. Now, instead of pressing the same "Continue" button, you scroll down and then there is "Creating a local player profile". There click!
3. In the mask enter their player name, "continue" or "done" press button and you have a local profile that now stores the Scores with or without Internet.
