Honestly, I had bought the device with the proviso in the price throw 'I, if it gets Macken, after half a year away and buy me a new one. This was necessary until now neither with me nor with the devices used in my environment under similar conditions. Granted, the menu system is initially a little getting used to wooden and little things like that do not read clock in a darkened display function at rest require some compromise on the part of the user. Also makes direct sunlight to read the display is not really a pleasure, but I've seen worse in cell phones for hundreds of dollars.
My conclusion: If you want a robust outdoor mobile phone for very little money (makes the still important basic function of a phone, namely the call, solid and reliable met outdoors and who are not too keen broody take care of the part of key now a scratch or do I need during a thunderstorm in the woods until the phone from moisture and protect me only after that can take care of my girlfriend) that makes the Samsung B2100 really nothing wrong. Who wants to constantly upload music, synchronize addresses on his PC or necessarily frequently check their e-mails must, which should buy something else (and just assume when it rains).
Update April 2011: Again, almost a year has passed and the part is simply not going to get broken. To date, no restrictions in the operation (key-touch like the first day), or in any functions. Already described above, the Samsung B2100 is with me in daily continuous operation under partly extreme conditions.
