Yesterday finally came the Mantona strap to together with my new Speedlite 430 EX II. Due to the many negative reviews I was prepared for the worst and could be only pleasantly surprised. And I was also. After I had it mounted in less than 1min on my EOS 1000D with battery grip (which really is not half as difficult now as some seemingly less technically savvy denounce here) I have it immediately with a Tamron 70-300 VC USD and lightning tested, which means a lot of weight (Camera + Battery Grip + battery + flash + battery + lens). After minimal fine tuning the wrist strap would sit perfectly and securely. It facilitates the handling and wearing the (now times not too light) equipment and is therefore a very real profit.
+ Secure hold + Fits contrary to some reviews, even with large hands + To quickly and easily fitted + Better fit than Canon hand strap to lower price + Smells by far not as strong for plasticizers like Canon Hand Strap (not really) + Very soft and comfortable
- Entrust the tripod screw, not quite, so take it for photos with tripod and heavy lenses ever from. But is a matter of a few seconds.
All in all, a true Bereicerung of photo equipment and fully recommended!
