Ingenious thing, although I must say that from a compost bucket :)

We have so far had no right bucket for organic waste, always uses only old, open bowls. However, as this nunmal makes pretty happy depending on the contents a certain number of fruit flies had to be something new.

So I specifically wanted something with a lid. The OXO is not cheap, it's just a small trash can. But it is worth every penny! While the cover is loose on the container, but it closes around everything. It smells not so well. I could probably accommodate a freshly collected from the pasture cow dung there and my kitchen would smell from the night before still after fried pork. What, moreover, is not practical: The lid can be taken off very easily, because it is inserted into a holder. Simply pull out and push it back later. So it is not a hindrance when tipping.
